Dr. Kadria Fairclough is a Jamaican physician, mother, and advocate for mental wellbeing who understands firsthand the challenges many people face with depression, anxiety, and related concerns. Born and raised right here in Jamaica, she has seen how untreated mental health conditions affect not only her patients, but families and communities across the island.
Family has always been at the centre of Dr. Fairclough's life. As a mother to a son, she understands the importance of being well enough—emotionally and mentally—to fully participate in life's most meaningful moments. She does not take that role for granted and is passionate about helping others find stability and hope so they can enjoy more quality time with the people they love.
This commitment to compassionate care inspired Dr. Fairclough to establish Serenity by LuKaria, a physician-guided virtual mental health practice dedicated to supporting patients with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia-related concerns, and suicide prevention education. Her goal extends beyond symptom relief; she is committed to helping people rebuild confidence, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with the lives they want to live.
Dr. Fairclough believes that every patient deserves compassionate, individualized care free from judgment or stigma. She is deeply committed to patient education and informed decision-making, empowering people with the knowledge and support they need for lasting mental wellbeing. If you or someone you love is in immediate danger, call Jamaica's emergency services at 119.
With years of Canadian telehealth experience and credentials including MBBS and LMCC, Dr. Fairclough provides Jamaica-focused virtual mental health care through physician-guided treatment plans and ongoing support tailored to each patient's unique needs and goals.
Through Serenity by LuKaria, Dr. Fairclough is helping Jamaicans access confidential mental health support and create a future where they can live fuller, healthier, and more fulfilling lives with their families.
